Salventa water security technology monitored via the Salventa app

Technology

Engineered treatment, proven in the field.

Multi-stage filtration, reverse osmosis and UV, configured to the source water and monitored remotely, on one modular platform.

The approach

One modular platform, configured to the water.

Every source is different: bore, creek, dam, brackish, seawater or wastewater. Salventa treats each with a modular, multi-stage process: only the stages a given source needs, in a rugged unit sized from a carry-case to a containerised plant. The same core technology scales across the range, so what's proven in one deployment carries into the next.

The treatment process

Multi-stage, in-site sequence.

01

Pre-filtration

Glass/sand and graded carbon filters strip sediment, particulates and taste/odour.

02

Ultrafiltration

Fine membrane filtration removes finer suspended solids and pathogens.

03

Reverse osmosis

For brackish and seawater: dissolved salts and contaminants removed down to <0.001 µm. (desal/brackish configurations)

04

UV-C disinfection

Solid-state UV-C (no glass, non-breakable) deactivates bacteria and viruses.

05

Medical-grade filters

A final barrier polishes the water to drinking standard.

06

Conditioning as required

Softening and dosing tuned to the site's water chemistry.

Not every source needs every stage. Units are configured to the feedwater, so you're not paying to treat what isn't there.

By form factor

Filtration configured to each platform.

Box

PLW1 / PLW1D

4-stage freshwater; desalination adds RO + UV + medical-grade final filter for brackish/high-risk sources.

Trailer

PLW3 / PLW3D / PLW3B

6-stage freshwater (glass/sand, graded carbon, UV-C, ultrafiltration, medical-grade, softener as required); desalination is an 8-stage line adding brackish + RO; wastewater configured to the application.

Container

PLW5 / PLW5D / PLW5B

6-stage site-scale treatment with reclamation and black-water options for continuous, high-volume supply.

Power

Runs on whatever the site has.

Solar

12V battery

240V mains

3-phase

Solar-capable for off-grid camps and bore heads; mains or generator where available.

Remote monitoring

Eyes on every unit, from anywhere.

The Salventa DMS keeps every deployed unit visible in real time, including over satellite where there's no network.

  • Real-time status & filter-life tracking with alerts
  • QR-linked diagnostics & manuals on the unit
  • Built-in spare-part ordering
  • Geo-lock for theft prevention
Service & support

Supported for the long term.

Self-managed

Training so local staff can run the unit day-to-day.

Remote support

24/7 dashboard and alerts via DMS.

On-call techs

Engineer visits as needed.

Annual audit

Optional scheduled check-up service.

12-month standard warranty, with extended 3–5 year options available.

Quality & compliance

Built to meet Australian drinking-water standards.

Salventa systems are engineered to produce safe drinking water from challenging sources. We are progressing formal, independent (NATA-accredited) testing against the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG), AS/NZS 4020 and WaterMark. Certification details will be published here as they are confirmed.
